Waivers
All paddlers, visitors, guest of clubs or support staff must complete a 2026 SCORA Liability Waiver. No exceptions. Sign waiver here
How to Register/Guest Club Login
Registration Steps/Login
If anyone from your club has participated in a SCORA race in the past, please use your club’s account login and do not create another one and login here.
If new to racing with SCORA register here
Once in your account:
- Enter a coach if not already in there. Must enter them as “New”
- IF using your own canoes – check borrowed
- When it says “select the canoe you will be borrowing”, scroll down to “canoe not listed”, check the box of type, then type the canoe number. No need for color or name.
- If borrowing from SCORA – same as #3 but put “unknown” in the canoe number space
- Paddler input screen comes up – enter all of your paddlers under “Guest”.
- Select a coach
- Hit next and you will be sent to the payment screen. Pay in person or online.

Coming from the south on 101 North: Exit Garden St and turn left on Garden. Take a
right on Cabrillo Blvd and follow signs for Santa Barbara Harbor. Entrance will be on the
left hand side, across from the SBCC football field.
Coming from the north on 101 South: Exit Castillo St and turn right on Castillo, then
right onto Cabrillo Blvd. Follow signs for Santa Barbara Harbor. Entrance will be on the
left hand side, across from the SBCC football field.
Parking
Paddlers:
Paid parking is available in the Leadbetter Beach and Santa Barbara Harbor
lots on a first-come, first-served basis. Max Daily Rate is $20/day and Hourly Rate is
$3.50/hr. Pay at City Parking Meter onsite, which accepts cash, debit cards and credit
cards. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY AS PARKING IS LIMITED!
- Limited paid parking is available at SBCC Parking Lot, on Cabrillo Blvd across from Leadbetter Beach entrance. Rates are $3 for 3 hours, or $7 for all-day
- Untimed parking available near Shoreline Park and in residential areas. Please heed the 75-minute and 90-minute only parking signs
Trucks & Trailers:
Parking and offloading of canoes will occur at the far end of Leadbetter Beach parking lot. Reserved Saturday trailer spots become available at 5 AM. First come first serve basis.
- Friday parking: Trailers may begin parking in the western section of the Leadbetter parking lot no earlier than 10pm Friday, May 15, 2025. Any vehicles that arrive prior to 10pm on Friday, May 15, 2025 must park in the launch ramp within the main Harbor Parking lot and pay the hourly rate. Trailers who park in the Leadbetter Beach parking lot earlier than 10PM on Friday will be cited.

Prize Raffle
The Prize Raffle is returning for its second year. Tickets may be purchased pre-sale for pick up the morning of the race, or onsite 7 am to 1:30 pm. The drawing will be held after the men’s race (approx. 2pm). Winners must claim prizes by the close of the event.
Keiki Fun Zone
Back by popular demand “Keiki Fun Zone,” has a variety of games and new aloha art activities. We have a new build-your-own outrigger paddle using recycled materials, make a friendship bracelet, put on a festive tattoo, as well as individual and team games. Children 12 and under can complete different activities to enter a prize drawing. The fun zone will open after the hula ceremony and run through the men’s race, offering games, art projects, and more. Our prize drawing includes a variety of prizes, including the grand prize donated by Island Packers of Ventura, for a trip to visit the Channel Islands National Park. The prize drawing will precede race awards, and participants must be present to win prizes.
*The famous Santa Barbara Bubble Guy is going to be at the event and his amazing bubble show featuring giant bubbles, dazzling shapes, and interactive fun for all ages is not to be missed.
Food & Coffee
Please follow Zero Waste practices and bring your own reusable utensils/napkins/containers.
El Pastorcito Food Truck will be available for breakfast and lunch all day. They will have breakfast burritos in addition to the menu provided on their website linked here. Make sure to try their specialty al pastor! Check out all their delicious offerings on their Instagram account @elpastorcitomobile!
Claudia’s Coffee will be catering to all your coffee needs! Claudia Coffee Bar is a local, independent coffee truck that offers coffee, tea, smoothies, and pastries. Come by and get fueled up for your race & don’t forget to bring your reusable coffee cups!
Other food options are within walking distance of the race site.

SBOCC’s Beer Garden will have beer and wine sponsored by Draughtsman and Lama Dog. Open 11am – 4:30pm (last call at 4:00pm). Over 21 enforced
