Waivers
All paddlers, visitors, guest of clubs or support staff must complete a 2024 SCORA Liability Waiver. No exceptions. Sign waiver here
How to Register/Guest Club Login
Registration Steps/Login
If anyone from your club has participated in a SCORA race in the past, please use your club’s account login and do not create another one and login here.
If new to racing with SCORA register here
Once in your account:
- Enter a coach if not already in there. Must enter them as “New”
- IF using your own canoes – check borrowed
- When it says “select the canoe you will be borrowing”, scroll down to “canoe not listed”, check the box of type, then type the canoe number. No need for color or name.
- If borrowing from SCORA – same as #3 but put “unknown” in the canoe number space
- Paddler input screen comes up – enter all of your paddlers under “Guest”.
- Select a coach
- Hit next and you will be sent to the payment screen. Pay in person or online.

Race Site Regulations
● No smoking
● No stakes
● No glass
● No outside alcohol
● No camping
● Dogs must be leashed on grass areas.
● Dogs not allowed on beach.
● BBQs in designated facilities only.
Directions
Coming from the south on 101 North: Exit Garden St and turn left on Garden. Take a
right on Cabrillo Blvd and follow signs for Santa Barbara Harbor. Entrance will be on the
left hand side, across from the SBCC football field.
Coming from the north on 101 South: Exit Castillo St and turn right on Castillo, then
right onto Cabrillo Blvd. Follow signs for Santa Barbara Harbor. Entrance will be on the
left hand side, across from the SBCC football field.
Parking
Paddlers:
Paid parking is available in the Leadbetter Beach and Santa Barbara Harbor
lots on a first-come, first-served basis. Max Daily Rate is $18/day and Hourly Rate is
$3/hr. Pay at City Parking Meter onsite, which accepts cash, debit cards and credit
cards. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY AS PARKING IS LIMITED!
- Limited paid parking is available on Saturday at SBCC Parking Lot, on Cabrillo Blvd across from Leadbetter Beach entrance. Rates are $3 for 3 hours, or $7 for all-day
- Untimed parking available near Shoreline Park and in residential areas. Please
heed the 75-minute and 90-minute only parking signs
Trucks & Trailers:
Parking and offloading of canoes will occur at the far end of
Leadbetter Beach parking lot. Reserved Saturday trailer spots become available at 5
AM. First come first serve basis.
- Friday parking: Overnight trailer parking is available by reservation only. Contact
Dolores Covarrubias 626-354-5678 for more information and to reserve overnight
trailer parking. Parking is also available in the Santa Barbara Harbor lot for a fee. - In case of emergency, City parking can be reached at the following:

Vendors
- Food: Shoreline Cafe will be open for breakfast and lunch purchase. Chiltepin Grill Mexican food truck will be available for breakfast and lunch purchase all day. Considered Coffee will have coffee and light breakfast options available in the morning.
- Drink: Santa Barbara Outrigger Beer Garden sponsored by Rincon Brewery and Anna’s Cider will be open 12pm-4:30pm. Over 21 enforced. Some non-alcoholic drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
- Vendors: PaddleMe Sports will be selling paddling gear, Voil Wellness will be providing samples of their hydration drink mix, Procovry will be providing 15 minute bodywork treatments throughout the day, and Insomnia Cookies will be giving away free cookies.
- Water stations provided by SolWaveWater – please bring a reusable water bottle for refill stations.
